Job summary

A leading company in the cash handling industry is looking for a Cashier who will be responsible for counting and verifying money, ensuring adherence to cash processing procedures. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of cashier experience, a clear criminal record, and must be computer literate. Attention to detail and numeric skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure, especially at night.

Qualifications

  • Clear criminal record required.
  • At least 2 years' cashier experience or similar role.
  • Must be willing to work night shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Counting and verifying client's money.
  • Ensure cash processing procedures adhere.
  • Balancing and reconciling money.
  • Operating money counting machines.
  • Packing ATMs.

Reporting to the - Counting House ManagerThe overall purpose of this position is to count and verify the client’s money.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • At least 2 years’ cashier experience or similar role
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work at night
