Our client, a leading provider in maintenance services, seeks to employ an experienced Accounts Payable Controller / Senior Creditors to join this progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note that this role requires a candidate resident in the Kloof or close surrounding areas, as well as requiring a candidate who has proven experience in managing the entire accounts payable process in its entirety, control and understand risk, as well as being capable of understanding overspending / overbuying.

POSITION INFO :

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION :

1. You will have Matric, coupled with 8-10 years experience in managing high volumes of accounts payable (creditors) accounts, in a fast-paced technical environment.
2. You will have proven experience in fully taking accountability for effective control of the entire accounts payable function, to include achieving company profitability and financial stability objectives by reducing business expenses, preventing overspending, and adequately managing cash outflows.
3. You will have experience in dealing with high volume suppliers, as well as managing BEE credentials for suppliers, resolving queries, maintaining contracts with service providers/suppliers, allocating payments, and reconciling purchases versus invoicing.
4. You will be able to generate reports, meet deadlines, and support the Financial Manager with ad hoc and month/year-end functions.
5. Advanced Excel and Xero software proficiency is essential.
6. You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car, and a clear criminal and credit record.
