Job Location: Eastern Cape, East London

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Maintain & develop customer relationships.
  2. Have product knowledge of bakery, patisserie, and chocolate industry.
  3. Follow a daily customer calling cycle to obtain, capture, process, and follow-up on orders.
  4. Prepare and manage quotations and follow-up accordingly.
  5. Keep customer data and contract pricing updated.
  6. Assist customers with queries.
  7. Coordinate with other departments for order processing, information handling, and customer requests.
  8. Perform other tasks assigned by the Manager.
PROFILE
  1. Matric (Grade 12) and a National Diploma in Sales / Marketing or Food Science.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in Sales and Bakery sector; B2B experience is preferable; Food sector (FMCG Market) is advantageous.
  3. Languages: English is required.
  4. Computer literacy: Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  5. Other skills: Business and result-driven, presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills (ability to establish contacts easily), sales and negotiation skills, team player.
  6. Experience in Sales / Retail / Business Development roles.
