The Telesales Representative will be responsible for generating sales through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate records, and supporting sales and service operations within The Company.

Areas of Responsibility
Sales
- Contact potential and existing customers to promote products or services using approved scripts.
- Answer customer queries regarding products and The Company.
- Identify customer needs through questioning to effectively close sales.
- Direct qualified prospects to the field sales team where appropriate.
- Accurately process and place customer orders.
- Verify and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Maintain proficiency in using the IQ program to assist clients effectively.
- Possess extensive knowledge of all stock items.
- Stay informed about new products, market trends, advertising, and promotional activities through engagement with management.
Administration
- Accurately enter and update customer information in the CRM/database.
- Maintain detailed records of calls, sales, and other useful customer interactions.
Customer Service
- Handle customer complaints professionally to uphold The Companys reputation.
- Go the extra mile to meet sales targets and promote future sales.
- Promote additional products to increase order value and customer engagement.
Teamwork
- Support department managers and colleagues in daily tasks and operations.
- Actively participate as a productive team member.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
Housekeeping and Safety Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards on all equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to protect self and others.
- Use and maintain PPE according to company policy.
- Refrain from tampering with safety, health, and environmental equipment.
- Actively participate in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) System and related activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
Educational Background
- Grade 12 (Matric certificate) required.
Language Proficiency
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand both Afrikaans and English fluently.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a telesales or similar customer service/sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, preferably in a telephone-based environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with sales systems and databases (experience with IQ system is advantageous).
