Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Telecoms Solutions Architect for a forward-thinking telecommunications client in Port Elizabeth. The role involves translating complex business requirements into scalable telecom solutions, spanning network infrastructure, cloud services, and unified communications.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering and product teams to design end-to-end systems, evaluate technologies, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, with at least 5 years in a solutions architecture role.
• Expertise in networking technologies (TCP/IP, MPLS, SD-WAN), VoIP, unified communications, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of mobile and fixed-line network architectures.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Design comprehensive telecommunications solutions, including voice, data, video, and cloud-based services, tailored to client needs.
