Our client seeks a visionary Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of innovative telecommunications solutions in Richards Bay . You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our client's service offerings, working with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives. This is a key position for an experienced architect looking to drive technological advancements within the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions for telecommunications services, encompassing network, application, and infrastructure components.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and service enhancement.
• Develop technical blueprints, specifications, and proof-of-concepts for new solutions.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex technical challenges related to telecoms architecture .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications, with at least 5 years in a solutions architect role.
• Deep understanding of mobile network technologies (e.g., 5G, LTE), IP networking, cloud computing, and virtualization.
• Proven experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure telecommunications systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with API design and microservices architecture is beneficial.
