Job summary

You will collaborate with legal, technical, and operations teams, prepare regulatory filings for ICASA, monitor legislative changes, and drive audits, training, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of South African telecommunications regulations and licensing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and interacting with regulators.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop regulatory compliance frameworks aligned with South African telecommunications laws.
• Monitor changes in legislation, standards, and industry best practices, and update internal policies accordingly.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure network deployments meet regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings, licenses, and audit documentation to ICASA and other authorities.
• Conduct internal compliance audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance obligations and ethical standards.
• Serve as the point of contact for regulatory investigations and respond to inquiries.
