Job summary

EY-Parthenon in South Africa seeks a Manager to lead technology due diligence for transactions, advising on platform readiness, cyber, data and architecture implications. You will work with private equity and corporate teams across markets, guiding day‑1 readiness and integration planning.

You will manage engagement teams, mentor juniors, and partner with financial, operational and commercial due diligence teams to deliver integrated insights that drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience translating technology risk into business or transaction language.
• Experience in technology due diligence in M&A or related transactions.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary engagement teams and manage senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology due diligence across target technology estates.
• Evaluate carve-out complexity and separation costs, and TSA-related decisions.
• Advise on separation/integration strategies from sign to close and day-1 readiness.
• Develop 100-day integration and transformation plans highlighting synergies.
• Identify value creation opportunities and cost optimization levers.
• Collaborate with EY service lines to deliver cohesive insights.
• Lead workstreams, mentor juniors, and contribute to internal initiatives.
