Executive Finance Partner for the Group Technology and Group Human Resources departments ('the Business').
Partner with the Group CTO, CIO, Group HR Director, BLT Group CEOs, and stakeholders to support financial objectives, optimize costs, manage risks, and perform business analysis.
The role ensures accurate, timely management of the Business' finance functions, providing strategic direction alongside responsibility for cost efficiency, cash management, and planning.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Planning
- Develop, implement, and review financial strategies; establish relationships with key stakeholders; enable business growth and build capabilities.
- Create a cost-effective, scalable financial operating model.
- Lead liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Assess capital proposals, long-term plans, and regulatory impacts.
- Coordinate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Manage business information systems and streamline processes.
- Finance Operations
- Oversee finance functions, including accounting, tax, and cost management.
- Provide financial insights, modeling, and business case development.
- Implement procurement practices and vendor management.
- Drive cost management, cash flow, and resource allocation improvements.
- Develop costing models, profitability analysis, and financial systems.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Manage budgeting processes, forecasts, and financial models.
- Ensure compliance and accurate reporting for statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Lead external audits and statutory reporting.
- Risk Management & Governance
- Implement policies, controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess investment strategies and perform risk analysis.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and oversee governance frameworks.
