A leading company seeks an Executive Finance Partner to oversee financial strategy for its Group Technology and Human Resources. This role involves developing comprehensive financial plans while managing efficient cost control and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience in financial management and strategic analysis, leading to effective partnerships with C-level executives.
Executive Finance Partner for the Group Technology and Group Human Resources departments ("the Business").
To partner with the Group CTO, CIO, Group HR Director, Group CEOs, and functional stakeholders to support setting financial objectives, optimizing cost and value drivers, risk management, and business analysis.
The role is responsible for accurate, timely execution, and management of the Business' finance function.
This entails providing strategic direction alongside direct responsibility for cost efficiency, cash management, strategic analysis, and planning.
Strategic Financial Planning Develop, implement, monitor, review, and evaluate the Business' financial strategy.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the board, shareholders, and Group CEOs to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
Finance Operations Organise and manage the finance function within Group Technology and Group Human Resources to ensure accurate financial controls and reporting, including full accounting, tax planning, submission, compliance, and cost accounting.
Provide accurate, complete, and understandable financial information to Business Heads, Group CEOs, and the executive team.
Budget, Forecasting Manage the budgeting process and prepare monthly and annual forecasts to ensure the business meets its financial and service objectives.
Oversee the Business' annual budgeting process collaboratively with Group CEOs.
Corporate Governance Handle monthly shareholder reporting, management accounts, and board reports.
Take full responsibility for external audits and statutory / regulatory reporting.
Ensure the credibility of the Business' finance through timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
Governance, Risk Management & Reporting Identify potential and current financial and operational risks.
Develop and implement policies to mitigate risks.
