Role Requirements
To thrive in this role, you are required to hold :
- a National Certificate in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology)
- HPCSA registration as a Medical Technician, or a National Diploma in Medical Technology / BHSc MLS with HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist.
- These qualifications ensure you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional standing to deliver confidently in a dynamic laboratory environment.
- You bring with you either 18 months of experiential learning as a Learner Technician in a Clinical Pathology setting, or 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a similar pathology environment.
- This experience enables you to navigate the laboratory with confidence, contribute meaningfully from day one, and grow within a culture that values continuous learning and leadership accountability.
