Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking a quality control technician for our East London laboratory in South Africa. You will perform daily QC tests and laboratory analyses to ensure products meet minimum quality standards as outlined by Premier FMCG’s QC procedures.

The role involves equipment maintenance, sample collection, and contributing to health and safety and food safety initiatives within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science.
• 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage.
• Computer literacy is required.

Job Purpose

Performing the required daily quality control tests and laboratory test analysis for quality control purposes and performing the required daily on-line quality control tests stipulated in the QC procedures to ensure that all products manufactured will confirm to the minimum quality standards of Premier FMCG.
