Technician

Technician job vacancy based in Mbombela / Nelspruit.

The technician will work in the Mpumalanga and Hoedspruit areas.

A young, dynamic person with a technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

We will provide training on the dosing units/pumps, and the technician will also receive formal training.

Salary: R8,000 – R10,000 per month. A vehicle will be provided for business use (kept on-site).

Requirements:

1. Servicing and repairs of equipment (vacuums, carpet extractors, etc.)
2. General repairs and maintenance work at the distribution centre
3. Installations of catering equipment (e.g., dishwashers, fridges, etc.).
4. Inspection of delivery vehicles, and administration to keep record of all maintenance done on the vehicles (e.g., tyre replacements, services, etc.).
5. The technician will ensure services are scheduled when due and will handle renewals of vehicle licenses in time.
6. He won’t need to work on the vehicles himself – only fix small things if needed – but must make sure all vehicles remain roadworthy and safe.
7. Fluent in English (spoken and understood) and comfortable communicating with clients.
8. Valid driver’s license.
