Job summary

A leading facilities services company in Durban is seeking a Mid-Senior level technician to service and maintain specialized machinery across various sites. The successful applicant will implement effective maintenance systems, ensuring service level agreements are met, and will need relevant qualifications along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience in servicing and maintaining of Sweepers and Scrubbers.
• Valid SA Driver’s License required.
• Must be medically fit for site induction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with schedule and legislation.
• Identify maintenance risks and facilitate inspections.
• Maintain issued vehicle and tools as per policy.

Job description

ROLE PURPOSETo service and maintain machinery deployed at various sites, implement an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery

MAIN OUTPUTS

• Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with legislation, SLA and job plan
• Identify maintenance risks on client’s equipment for evaluation and resolution
• Ensure machines are serviced and maintained for maximum up time
• Review of Infrastructure and Maintenance Strategies
• Facilitate Inspections together with appointed consultants & contractors
• Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with legislation, SLA and job plan
• Identify errors, breakdowns and potential problems on all machines
• Maintain issued vehicle and tools as per policy
• Ensure control of documents and document retention
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSThe Applicant Must Meet The Following Requirements

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• Valid SA Driver’s License
• 5yrs relevant experience in servicing and maintaining of Sweepers and Scrubbers.
• Experience
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level)
