Job summary

CBRE Excellerate seeks an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, repair, test and inspect electrical systems across facilities, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency. The role includes preventative tasks, fault diagnosis and compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements include 3–5 years in electrical maintenance, a National Senior Certificate, and a valid driver’s license; postgraduate electrical/mechanical studies are preferred.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate is required.

• Postgraduate studies in Electrical/Mechanical are preferable.
• 3–5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Experience with electrical reticulation and building services.

Job Purpose

The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The role includes preventative maintenance, fault finding, compliance with safety regulations, and supporting operational requirements across facilities.

What You Will Be Doing

What You Will

• National Senior Certificate
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferable post graduate studies in Electrical/Mechanical
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Experience with electrical reticulation and building services.
• Experience within commercial, industrial, or facilities management environments.
