Job description

At Nintex, we are transforming the way people work everywhere.

As the global standard for process intelligence and automation, we are trusted by over 10,000 public and private sector organizations across 90 countries. Our customers, including industry giants like Amazon, CocaCola, and Microsoft, rely on the Nintex Platform to accelerate their digital transformation journeys by managing, automating, and optimizing business processes quickly and efficiently. We aim to improve lives through the technology we build.

We are committed to fostering a workplace that supports amazing people in doing their very best work every day. Our environment is fast-paced, collaborative, fun, and values curiosity, ideas, and enthusiasm. Driven by passion and accountability, we take initiative, measure progress, and deliver results. Our culture fosters innovation and problem-solving, fueled by curiosity and a commitment to thinking big. Together, we move with agility, prioritize customer needs, and build unity through empathy, leaving a positive impact everywhere we go.

About the role :

Nintex Technical Writers develop multi-audience technical content for the Nintex Process Platform. They collaborate with a global team of technical writers, content producers, product managers, developers, user experience designers, and operations and security personnel to create helpful, high-quality content that enhances understanding, experience, and usage of Nintex products. The focus is on developing online help documentation, security documentation (including technical data and journey diagrams), and user interface text.

Technical Writers at Nintex are proactive, troubleshoot effectively, and adapt rapidly to change. They approach technical writing with a contemporary perspective, addressing users as individuals and helping them accomplish their goals, rather than documenting every button and menu option. They possess curiosity, willingness, and ability to learn about Nintex products and are skilled in technical writing and readability principles. They write clear, useful technical content and actively develop stakeholder relationships, while continuously improving team processes, practices, and style guides.

They work in an agile environment using an accountability-based Kanban system.

Your contribution will be :

  • Developing and deploying help content, security documentation, and UX copy for primary products, and assisting with other product documentation as needed.
  • Testing product functionality independently to verify and develop content for releases.
  • Identifying additional content needs through monitoring customer feedback and analyzing content analytics.
  • Building and maintaining effective communication and partnerships across teams to ensure content alignment.
  • Providing feedback on UX copy, marketing, and other content areas, and incorporating feedback from other teams.
  • Performing peer reviews to ensure high quality and adherence to style guides.
  • Communicating product and UX design improvement suggestions to relevant teams.
  • Keeping current with emerging trends in technical communication.
  • Performing other reasonable tasks as assigned.

To be successful, we think you need :

  • At least 3 years of technical writing experience.
  • Experience with technical writing authoring tools, preferably MadCap Flare.
  • Experience working in a global, agile environment.
  • A third-level qualification in Technical Writing, Communications, or IT-related field.
