Qualifications

Your responsibilities include creating, debugging, verifying, maintaining, and updating technical test scripts to run automated testing. You will be responsible for testing the functionality of systems designed to meet business requirements, aiming to prevent errors/defects in the live system through change control and continuous improvement.

Are you someone who can :

• Quickly adapt to prescribed standards and internal frameworks.
• Familiarize yourself with interaction points such as Legacy Applications, REST, API, Selenium, SOAP, IMS, OCEP.
• Design robust, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts covering various aspects of the System Under Test.
• Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including QA, Infrastructure, Architecture, Developers, and Business teams.
• Understand the System Under Test from a business perspective.
• Maintain open communication with product owners and business analysts to gather requirements.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quick turnaround for fixes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide detailed information to facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the Technical Team Lead.

Additional Requirements :

• Java (Advanced, OCA certified)
• Spring Boot
• Basic SQL database management
• Front-end application navigation skills
• API testing using tools like Postman and SOAPUI
• API documentation including Swagger
• Monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Experience with Micro Focus ALM Octane
• Version control with Git and Bitbucket
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDE
• Understanding of script datasheets and data-driven frameworks
• Knowledge of OCEP services and data preparation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
