Role Overview: You will create, debug, verify, maintain, and update technical test scripts to run automated tests. You will be responsible for testing the functionality of systems designed to meet business requirements, aiming to prevent errors and defects in the live system through change control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using our internal framework.
• Familiarize with interaction points such as Legacy Applications, REST, API, Selenium, SOAP, IMS, OCEP.
• Design scalable, robust, and maintainable automation scripts for various system aspects.
• Review and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancy.
• Collaborate with QA, Infrastructure, Architecture, Developers, and Business stakeholders.
• Understand the System Under Test (SUT) from a business perspective.
• Gather requirements through communication with product owners and business analysts.
• Work with stakeholders and developers to facilitate quick fixes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide detailed reports to support issue resolution.
• Maintain effective communication channels.
• Work closely with the Technical Team Lead.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java (Advanced level, OCA certified).
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Basic SQL database management skills.
• Knowledge of front-end application navigation.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman and SOAPUI.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Knowledge of Git and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDE.
• Understanding of script datasheets and data-driven frameworks.
• Knowledge of OCEP services.
• Data preparation and understanding skills.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
