Are you someone who can:

• Prepare applications for release days.
• Manage Code Review Sessions.
• Assist with Technical Design Sessions.
• Provide team leadership to developers and guidance to Systems Analysts.
• Implement processes, build customer service delivery excellence, and encourage others to provide exceptional service.
• Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders for expectation management, knowledge sharing, and integration.
• Translate business IT requirements into solutions and monitor operational effectiveness.
• Ensure testing for all configuration and development tasks, including unit, system integration, and post-implementation tests.
• Assess and mitigate potential risks within the IT function, complying with policies and processes.
• Design IT solutions and produce specifications and architecture according to standards.
• Analyze problems and requirements to determine impact, trends, and best practices.
• Oversee and manage escalated support requests, ensuring effective resolution.
• Implement IT strategies supporting business objectives with a focus on operational excellence.
• Participate in communities of practice and contribute to organizational knowledge.
• Support teamwork within the function and collaborate across teams.
• Manage team capacity, skills development, and culture to foster innovation and increase competencies.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have an IT-related Degree or Diploma.
• Have 7+ years of related technical experience.
• Have 2+ years managing complex technical teams.
• Have 5+ years experience in programming and system design.
• Possess System Design experience (advantageous).
• Have experience with Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
• Are experienced in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Have experience with testing tools and metrics.
• Have full stack development experience (a plus).
• Have AWS exposure (a plus).
• Have Data Streaming exposure (a plus).
• Are experienced with integration mechanisms and services.
• Know Design principles and Domain Driven Design.
• Understand Queueing technologies.
