Responsibilities:

• Translate business IT requirements into implementable solutions & continuously monitor to ensure operational continuity and effectiveness.
• Deliver against operational and cost targets.
• Prioritise resource allocation to minimise and reduce wastage.
• Monitor costs for the financial year according to the operational plan.
• Allocate and approve expenditure.
• Review cost reports and resolve or explain variances to the budget.
• Identify, control, and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs.
• Manage costs or expenses within the approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Contribute to the development of the larger overall area budget.
• Develop the budget for the next financial year, considering all operational plans.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum: B.Comm, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics, or related degree.
• 3 – 5 years experience managing a team of Java Developers.
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages relevant to the department's requirements.
