Job description

Taropa Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Technical Support professional responsible for service delivery and ongoing support (both remotely and on-site) of products and technology in the Taropa Technologies portfolio. They are indirectly responsible for supporting profitable sales by assisting account managers.

DUTIES AND TASKS

The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with stock takes
  • Keeping abreast of market trends
  • Resolving technical issues and providing proactive support
  • Completing reports on activity regularly and promptly
  • Attending scheduled meetings
  • Performing tasks both remotely and on customer sites
  • Liaising with customers on project requirements, scope, and system integration
  • Testing software applications and hardware devices
  • Collaborating with all company personnel involved in quality service delivery
  • Supporting sales personnel with client contact, meetings, and visits
  • Developing tools for deployment management and troubleshooting
  • Assisting in negotiating prices to ensure profitable sales
  • Supporting customer relationship development and long-term engagement
  • Developing, configuring, testing, and deploying bespoke customer solutions
  • Documenting solutions for support and future development
  • Supporting sales targets and expanding the customer base
  • Promoting company products and participating in trade shows and seminars
  • Assisting in planning sales and marketing strategies
  • Analyzing customer needs, market trends, and competitors
