The Production Department currently has a vacancy for an attentive to detail, self-motivated and dedicated individual to join their team in the Production department.

The Duties And Responsibilities Will Include

• Conducting mechanical inspections on all production machinery on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure compliance and adherence to the Production department driven and static machinery.
• Conduct quality inspections on machines and on all checklist completed by operators.
• Attend breakdowns when required on all Production machinery.
• Train operators on pre-inspection checklist of machines.
• Liaise with the engineering department for all breakdowns.
• Adhere to the regulations as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Take responsibility for the administration of all above responsibilities.
  
  

Qualifying Criteria

• Qualified Fitter Artisan/ Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal certification).
• Code 14 Drivers License would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Qualified Technician specializing in moving machinery.
• Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry or similar environment.
• Must be physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
