Qualifications

Job Title : Technical Support Engineer (L2) – IT & Network Support

Location : Cape Town CBD, South Africa

Employment Type : Full-time, On-site

Job Description :

A UK-based client is expanding operations into South Africa and is seeking experienced Level 2 Technical Support Engineers to join their Cape Town team. This role encompasses both IT Support and Network Support functions, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in technical support, helpdesk, or call center environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Resolve escalated technical issues related to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server.

Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.

Provide remote and on-site support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Collaborate with first-line support teams to ensure seamless escalation and resolution processes.

Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions provided.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level 2 IT or Network Support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Windows Server.

Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.

Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900).

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
