We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Services Manager to lead and oversee our Technical Services operations in Singapore and Malaysia. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service delivery across both markets.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee daily operations and manage P&L for the Technical Services departments in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Lead and mentor an extended team of managers, engineers, and technicians to drive operational efficiency, service excellence, and technical competency.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and departmental goals aligned with regional objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to expand service revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure that all medical devices are properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced to meet regulatory standards and performance expectations.
  • Support healthcare providers by ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of devices throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provide prompt troubleshooting and emergency field service support as required.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Partner with relevant departments on strategic initiatives to increase ExpertCare adoption rates across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards and local regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPMDS).
Required/Preferred Education And Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the Medical Device or Biomedical Engineering industry.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a similar technical role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong background in on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
