We are seeking a Technical Sales Support – Mill Lining Solutions individual to join our team. This role provides technical sales support within Metso and to end users, focusing on Mill Lining Solutions.

Primary responsibilities include technical sales support, field support, application and process support, warranty and price support. The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales team to develop market strategies, maintain customer relationships via Salesforce, and plan and execute installation supervision and lining inspections.

This position reports to the Head of Mill Lining - TSS and is mainly located in Centurion, Gauteng.

Team and Stakeholders: You will work with internal teams such as Management, Customer Sales, Market Area colleagues, and Product Support, as well as external clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mill lining inspections and oversee installations.
• Analyze wear reports and develop optimized liner designs.
• Support quality and warranty investigations.
• Provide technical and engineering support, application, and process support.
• Assist with product selection and configuration.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor activity reviews.
• Enhance sales team knowledge through training and updates.
• Develop business opportunities and sales plans.
• Travel extensively within the region and internationally to support sales efforts.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12) and a diploma/degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience with related products.
• Technical knowledge of milling circuits and Metso Mill Lining solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce), engineering drawings, and process support.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
