OUR CLIENT WAS ESTABLISHED IN IN THE EARLY 1980S AND IS ONE OF SOUTH AFRICA'S LARGEST FASTENER DISTRIBUTORS AND IS THE SOUTH AFRICAN PORTAL FOR FASTENER, POWER TOOLS, HAND TOOLS AND HARDWARE FOR THE AFRICAN CONTINENT.

Purpose of the Position :

Responsible for the achievement of agreed sales targets for the region and the marketing of products.

Requirements :

  • Matric
  • Technical sales experience - an advantage.
  • Sales & Marketing qualification - an advantage.
  • If young and enthusiastic, the person can be trained in technical / engineering sales.
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Valid un-endorsed driver's license
  • MS Office plus experience in using a sales database

Responsibilities :

  • Manage sales in the industrial market to various manufacturing customers through ensuring volume and profitability.
  • Monitor and review customer performance and growth quarterly.
  • Build customer relationships.
  • Monitor region for competitor activities.
  • Manage customer service effectiveness in respective region.
  • Identify new markets and product opportunities within the region.
  • Weekly reporting on performance, sales call reports, sales targets achieved.

Remuneration :

  • Basic R 12 000.00, plus normal company benefits.
  • Car allowance.
  • Fuel card.
  • Cell phone allowance.
  • Attractive commission structure.
