Job description

Our client, a prominent brand located in Midrand, is seeking to employ an experienced Technical Sales Representative in Electrical Wholesale.

Requirements:

  • Drivers license and own reliable transport are essential.
  • 3-5 years of working experience as a Sales Representative in the Electrical Wholesale environment.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good business and process analysis skills.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, Google, and associated software applications.
  • Ability to travel is essential.
  • NQF level 5 minimum (120 credits), equating to a national or higher certificate.
  • Sales and marketing training and certification.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Actively identify and pursue potential business opportunities.
  • Attend relevant customer enquiry meetings and provide sales support.
  • Develop account plans for upselling to customers.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate orders.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure accurate pricing and promotions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operational and store management and staff.
