Job description

The main purpose of this role is to promote and sell the company's products and services to existing and potential clients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science or equivalent
• Driver’s License

Duties:

• Product application trials — trials on new products and development of products and new markets
• Customer training — customer service, value-added technical advisory services
• Testing and evaluation of products as required by clients (on-site)
• New product development for butchers and large factories to generate new markets
• General customer service, technical advisory services, and client support in liaison with senior food technologist
• Technical advisory services to butchers, including consulting on product quality, production capacities, efficiencies, and implementation of quality control/assurance systems to increase production output and shelf life of products
• Researching potential new markets for new business, analyzing and reporting on sales leads linked to clients
