We're hiring for TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE: Northwest, Western Free State, and parts of Northern Cape.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be a member of the Southern African sales team based in Centurion.

You Will Be Part of a Growing Team

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will support the commercial team to achieve financial goals and maximize product sales by providing high-quality service in your territory. All product training is provided. The role involves significant travel, with nights away.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting sales of existing products
  2. Providing high-quality technical product information and training
  3. Executing company and territory strategic plans and distribution strategies
  4. Implementing marketing plans
  5. Monthly product forecasting
  6. Attending key industry field days and study groups
  7. Assisting the national team in launching new products over the next few years

Key Stakeholders and Interactions

The candidate will need to communicate effectively and develop relationships with key customers.

Location

Northwest, Western Free State, and parts of Northern Cape.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Postgraduate qualification in Agricultural Science or similar
  • Three to five years' experience in crop protection-related business
  • Sound understanding of agricultural farming systems
  • Good communication and relationship development skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proven experience engaging with local communities and relationship building
  • Valid driver's license
