Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technical sales professional with a strong background in the solar PV industry. This individual will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, engaging with clients, conducting site assessments, and delivering tailored proposals backed by financial and technical insight.
You will work closely with our design, engineering, and project teams to ensure each solution meets both performance and business objectives. Organizational skills, technical know-how, and the ability to close complex deals are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage new commercial, industrial, and retail clients
Conduct site visits and feasibility assessments for potential projects
Prepare and deliver professional technical proposals, including ROI calculations and system designs
Present technical concepts and financial outcomes to decision-makers in a clear, consultative manner
Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and pipeline activity
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, procurement) to ensure accurate quoting and timelines
Stay informed on solar technologies, local regulations, and market trends
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in solar PV sales, with a proven track record in the commercial and/or industrial sector
Solid understanding of solar system components (inverters, panels, batteries, mounting systems) and design principles
Familiarity with local energy tariffs, net metering, and financing models (incl. Section 12B, rental, and PPA structures)
Comfortable using sales tools, CRM systems, and basic solar design/quoting software
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads and projects concurrently
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
