A supplier of laboratory service is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town.

The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's services to new business accounts, and by growing existing business through value added selling of the company's total package of services.

Key Requirements: A broad knowledge of food safety programs and systems, including environmental monitoring, finished product sampling, HACCP, food microbiology, food chemistry, and research capabilities, is required. A thorough knowledge of food science, typically obtained from a ND or Bachelors degree or from equal experience within the food testing industry, is required. Furthermore, broad knowledge of technical sales techniques and client service experience is required to increase new business and improve existing business.
