Technical Sales Representative
Hydraulics | Welding | Fabrication | Gas | Tooling

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for a confident self-starter with proven experience in hydraulics, welding, fabrication, gas, or industrial tooling. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, and closing sales — all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business through cold calls, site visits, and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with expert guidance and solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations with timely follow-ups.
  • Plan and manage your territory effectively to meet monthly sales and GP targets.
  • Conduct on-site demonstrations of welding machinery and tools.
  • Manage backorders and deliveries to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain sales data and reports via Repsly or similar CRM tools.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Matric (minimum); Tertiary qualification in technical or commercial field is an advantage.
  • 5+ years’ proven sales experience in welding, hydraulics, fabrication, gas, or tooling sectors.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid Code 8 driver’s license with reliable own transport.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
