Job description

Vacancy for the abovementioned exists at a well established raw material supplier. The incumbent will manage and develop the customer base in the Western Cape and Namibia, focussing on sales and technical support (be on call 24/7). Responsibilities:
Maintaining customer focused sales approach.
Developing relationships with key decision makers.
Technical trouble shooting at bakery level, problem solving, resolving complaints.
Increasing sales volume and value primarily for yeast, but also across product categories.
Achieving profit margins.
Price negotiations and product costing.
Preparing for, and attending tradeshows.
Forecasting and planning.
Reporting on sales variances, market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities.
Regional budget preparation.
Manage/Supervise regional BSBU sales team.

Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in field of food technology /baking/sales and marketing advantageous
Min 5 years sales experience in FMCG
Baking experience preferable
Fully computer literate in MS Office
Code 8 driver's license
Acceptance to be on call 24/7
