Our international client requires you to be based in Gauteng with travel throughout Africa to manage their regional sales team in South Africa.

Ideally, you should have technical knowledge from the filtration industry, mining, heavy-duty sectors, or similar fields.

We seek a professional, career-oriented, results-driven individual who can build camaraderie within the team.

Requirements
  • Matric Certificate: Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Technology & Design
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales Management
  • Diploma in Business or Sales Management
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager
  • Technical knowledge and experience in the filtration industry, mining, or heavy industry are advantageous
  • Computer literacy: Outlook, online meetings, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Pastel Accounting
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Achieve customer and market growth to meet sales targets by managing the sales team effectively
  • Ensure a motivated sales team
  • Develop and organize the sales team for customer relations, sales, and administrative tasks
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase market share
  • Set KPIs for sales team members and ensure achievement
  • Recruit, coach, train, and monitor performance of sales representatives
  • Prepare drawings, estimates, and tenders tailored to customer needs
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, promote products, and provide support
  • Develop and control sales and service programs
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Negotiate prices, terms of sale, and service agreements
  • Monitor customer preferences and market conditions
  • Prepare sales, revenue, and expense reports with forecasts
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements
  • Visit existing customers and gather feedback
  • Generate new customer leads
  • Achieve sales targets through the team
