Job description

We are seeking a Lead Sales Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our sales team by managing client communication, compiling quotations, creating bill of material (BOM) lists, invoicing, processing sales orders, and performing general sales administration duties as well as overseeing the daily tasks of a small sales team.

The ideal candidate will have 3 -5 years of sales or sales administration experience in a technical industry and excellent communication and numerical skills. A mechanical or technical certificate would be beneficial, but a high school certificate is a minimum requirement. The candidate must also have intermediate Excel skills and experience working with SAGE or a similar ERP system.

Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee the work of the internal sales team.

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on sales orders.

Compile accurate and detailed quotations for renewable energy solutions.

Create and maintain bill of material (BOM) lists for sales orders.

Process sales orders and manage order fulfilment from start to finish.

Generate and send invoices to clients.

Requirements

High school certificate (minimum); mechanical or technical certificate (beneficial).

3-5 years of sales / sales administration experience in a technical industry.

At least 1 years past leadership experience in a similar roles

Good communication skills - verbal and written.

Advanced numerical skills.

Mechanical aptitude.

Experience working with SAGE or similar ERP systems.

Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

Past Solar experience will be highly advantageous.
