Who we are looking for : We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Operations team, a team that prides itself in delivering operational excellence and ensuring all projects meet our OTIFNE standards : On Time, In Full, No Errors, and within Budget.

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive, solution-driven attitude and exhibit strong technical (engineering / manufacturing) and project management skills, coupled with good commercial acumen.

This individual should excel at independently managing projects, and also be able to thrive within a client centric, collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Job Requirements : Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to our clients, our sales and design teams, ensuring suitable, practical and cost-competitive manufacturing approaches are deployed.

Manage costing, prototyping, production, quality control, and project installations.

Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotes), collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure best value.

Utilize SolidWorks for creating technical models, detailed drawings andproblem-solving (to support engineering when required).

Deliver resolved and production-ready prototypes, & support in presenting these prototypes to clients.

Accountable for delivering quality, fit-for-purpose products by ensuring production projects are on time, in full, with no errors, and within budget.

Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project communication.

Perform detailed project management and administration, including timeline & critical path management, meticulous financial tracking, budget management, and reporting.

Engage pro actively with clients to clarify project requirements, update progress, and manage expectations.

Manage and maintain healthy supplier relationships.

Actively participate in R&D and innovation initiatives, contributing to the continual enhancement of VF's product offerings.

Qualifications & Experience : A degree in Industrial Design or a related field is essential.

A Project Management Diploma (NQF Level 5), PMP certification or similar will be advantageous.

Minimum 3-5 years of proven project management experience within the manufacturing sector, with extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes (metal, wood, plastic, cardboard).

Ability to manage multiple complex, multi-phase projects simultaneously; ideally within the shopper marketing, point-of-purchase display or agency environments.

Proven experience in SolidWorks (3D modelling and drafting).

Working Conditions : Primarily office-based with regular visits to production and installation sites.
