Job description

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Operations team and lead cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute during the pre-project lifecycle and take full ownership of customer delivery projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project schedules, performance, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.

Strong project management and technical skills are essential, as the role requires balancing multiple priorities and managing stakeholder expectations. This is an outcome-driven position, focused on delivering results rather than managing tasks.

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  1. Oversee all data preparation and collection for the project, including project documentation.
  2. Get involved, hands-on, to deliver contractual deliverables and outcomes.
  3. Utilize project management methodologies in the development and execution of project plans, schedules, budgets, control points, risk assessments, resource allocation, and status reporting.
  4. Manage day-to-day scope, including meetings, status coordination, schedule, project plan, and financials.
  5. Develop project documentation, dashboards, and formal updates.
  6. Lead interactions with service providers and customers.
  7. Foster a strategic image of the company's capabilities.
  8. Inform management of deviations from schedule, scope, and budget, with suggestions for corrective actions.
  9. Multi-task across all project activities and multiple projects.
  10. Participate actively in solution design, testing, and training.
  11. Identify resource needs and assign responsibilities.
  12. Comply with Solution Delivery and corporate policies/procedures.
  13. Protect company and customer information assets to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  14. Interact with stakeholders such as sales, systems engineering, service providers, customers, and product development teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Tertiary qualification is essential.
  • Professional membership (PMI/PMSA) is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Projects is essential.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel (nationally and/or internationally).
  • Experience within the utility industry (advantageous).
  • Experience with software projects and international work (advantageous).
