A leading organization seeks an Administrative Support person for its Space Programme. This role involves managing project documents, assisting with budgets, and organizing meetings and travel arrangements. Ideal for candidates with experience in project support and proficiency in MS Office, it offers a chance to contribute to innovative space projects.
Reporting to the Space Program Manager the successful incumbent will perform a wide range of administrative support activities for the Space Programme / Space Engineering unit and Managers to facilitate the efficient operation of the office. They will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager and Project Managers in a variety of administrative activities for the programme / project. Responsibilities may vary depending upon the size and complexity of the project and the Project Managers delegation of assignments. Responsibilities include the tracking of project related correspondence handling of personnel actions oversight and maintenance of interagency collaborative commitments recording and tracking of action items and serving as the official records officer for the project to establish and administer the data management activities for a specific programme project activity or contract.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience :
Key performance areas will include but are not limited to :
Maintain and prepare various project documents efficiently and accurately.
Track project budgets expenditure and facilitate invoice processing.
Organise and coordinate meetings ensuring all logistics are handled effectively.
Arrange domestic and international travel for project teams.
Background verification including criminal record credit checks security clearances qualifications and citizenship checks as well as competency assessment and psychometric testing may form part of the selection process.
