Job summary

Indsafri is seeking a Technical Product Owner to take end-to-end technical ownership of Temenos T24/Core Banking, Credit, Cards & Payments, ATM and POS platforms. You will shape the technology strategy, direct configurations, upgrades and multi-country deployments, and drive integration with enterprise systems.

You will lead a multidisciplinary technology team, manage backlogs, and ensure operational stability, data integrity and regulatory compliance in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services or Insurance is mandatory.
• Experience with Core Banking, Credit, Cards, Payments, ATM or POS is highly relevant.
• Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary technology team in a large corporate environment.
• Strong experience in technical product ownership and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical product portfolio covering Temenos T24/Core Banking, Credit, Cards & Payments, ATM and POS.
• Define technology asset strategy, roadmap and target state.
• Lead platform configuration, upgrades and multi-country deployments.
• Drive integration between Core Banking and enterprise systems.
• Support STP across the technology landscape.
• Own and prioritise technical/product backlogs.
• Lead release planning and delivery with engineering teams and partners.
• Manage technical debt and ensure continuous platform improvement.
• Ensure platform stability, resilience, performance, compliance and reliability.
• Oversee HA, DR, ITSM, monitoring and application landscape management.
• Ensure data integrity and proper data lineage across assets.
• Manage technology vendors and strategic partners.
• Manage budgets and optimise Total Cost of Ownership.
• Translate business requirements into technical delivery.
• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, architecture, operations, risk and compliance.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing technical product team.
• Drive technology transformation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with governance, risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.
