Job summary

Watershed Consulting is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead a national team of technicians in electronic security across South Africa. You will oversee installations, maintenance, repairs and projects, ensuring high standards of service and strong customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes payroll inputs, stock control, reporting and KPI monitoring, with a practical, hands-on leadership style in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years' relevant technical experience in electronic security, CCTV, access control, alarms or a related field.
• At least 2 years' supervisory or management experience.
• Solid understanding of CCTV, access control, alarms and/or electronic security systems.
• Experience managing or coordinating technicians or technical teams.
• Experience with stock control and inventory management.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent administrative and organisational ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deal professionally with customers and resolve escalated issues.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure.
• Practical, problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently while taking ownership of operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a national team of technicians.

The Role

Remuneration

Basic Salary: R25 000 – R28 000 per month
