Job summary

Mediclinic Kloof is seeking a capable engineer to oversee the technical operations of the facility, including maintenance of buildings and equipment. You will lead the technical team, manage projects, and ensure quality and safety standards across the hospital environment.

Essential qualifications include a 2nd-year level Thermodynamics/Electro Technology engineering degree (NQF6) and a valid driver's license, with at least four years of post-graduate HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (heavy current) with Thermodynamics and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate engineering experience with HVAC and auxiliary electrical power supplies exposure.
• Experience within a facility management environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and maintenance of building, plant and equipment
• Manage and support technical projects within the Hospital
• Manage and mitigate Technical Operations risk within the Hospital
• Oversee and manage on-site contractors/suppliers in the Hospital
• Ensure quality management and continuous improvement within Technical Operations
• To manage stakeholder relations and client service within the technical environment at Mediclinic
• Lead and manage the people in the technical team
• Manage and control department budget/finances
