Job description

Providing technical expertise and value-adding blasting services to customers to support the company’s strategic focus on value-added premium markets.

Required outputs: functional

1. Operate safely and efficiently at company and customer sites.
2. Competent operation of technical blasting tools.
3. Interpret blast design data for safe and efficient blasting.
4. Communicate blast design data to supervisor, customer, or subcontractor.
5. Manage logistics for supplying explosives products for blasting operations at assigned sites.
6. Ensure a safe blasting process.
7. Conduct post-blast evaluations.
8. Identify and analyze opportunities for value-adding services to enhance customer operations.
9. Travel extensively to Lesotho weekly.
10. Perform weekly blasting assessments on operators and assistants.
11. Prepare monthly reports on business activities, supply, delivery, and product usage.
12. Coordinate with the technical projects team and oversee all technical projects on site.
13. Possess a comprehensive understanding of all modules within the blasting competency program.
14. Engage with management at all levels within the organization.
15. Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills in both operational and customer inquiry scenarios, utilizing information from various sources to support management decisions.
