Technical Manager - Animal Nutrition

In this crucial role, you will take accountability for supporting our sales efforts by developing and executing winning product and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage product portfolios to optimize growth, profitability and market relevance
• Engage directly with customers to understand needs and gather product feedback
• Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to enhance existing products and develop new offerings
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to sales advisors and customers
• Drive new product launches by executing go-to-market plans across departments
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
• Develop training programs to ensure proper use of our client's products and services
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and present findings to the executive team

Requirements :

• MSc in Animal Science with strong monogastric knowledge (PhD an advantage)
• Extensive experience in animal feed products / services with proven success record
• Unique blend of business and technical acumen
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in teams
• Data analytics skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Willingness to travel within and outside South Africa
