Job description

Fawkes & Reece are aiding an award-winning housing developer in their latest project which is approaching the 2nd stage of development. Recently awarded the UK's top house builders for build quality and Britain's most admired company 2024, you will have to mirror their approach and attention to detail on specifications and quality on the upcoming 989-unit residential RC frame scheme. The scheme comprises of a hybrid planning application for residential blocks and commercial space together with on site car and bike parking. Due to recent change in government regulations, you will be working as the technical lead alongside the planning team to ensure the buildability of the units whilst also offering support right from the early design stages. The most suitable candidate would be within a commutable distance of East London and readily available for an immediate start. Similar large scale RC frame construction project experience is desired with a proven track record of working under a demanding target driven environment.

Our client's key desires for the right candidate include

• Demonstrated competence in overseeing the planning stages of a residential and commercial space build project
• Experience of working alongside reputable house builders/property developers (Tier 1)
• Strong knowledge of building legislation, planning processes and partnership agreements.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• A proven track record of undertaking design management activities at both tender and construction stages.

The role includes a long-term Freelance contract proposed, and an extremely competitive daily rate offered depending on experience.
