Job summary

Advania-UK is seeking a Technical Lead to own the Managed Device service in Cape Town. You will lead technical delivery, act as senior escalation point and drive automation and lifecycle management across Windows and macOS endpoints.

You will handle client engagements, service reviews and translate requirements into actionable roadmaps while championing standardization and proactive remediation.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management.
• Practical macOS management with Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and security baselines.
• Experience packaging and deploying Win32 apps with Enterprise App Catalog and RoboPack.
• Ability to diagnose complex endpoint issues and lead technical escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership for the Managed Device service, maintaining standards, controls, dependencies, risks and service health.
• Act as senior escalation point for Windows, macOS, Intune, enrolment, compliance and endpoint management issues.
• Lead technical client discussions, contribute to service reviews, translate priorities into improvement plans.
• Maintain consistent standards for Windows and Mac enrolment, configuration, compliance and lifecycle management.
• Govern onboarding, packaging, testing, deployment and retirement using Enterprise App Catalog and automated packaging platforms.
• Provide technical oversight of endpoint baselines, BitLocker, FileVault, LAPS and CA dependencies.
• Identify opportunities for service evolution through standardization, lifecycle changes and monitoring.
• Reduce manual activity via PowerShell, automation and proactive remediation.
