Qualifications:
- Leadership certifications (advantageous).
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Minimum 6 - 10 years experience in the ICT sector with relevant experience in managing a company's network and systems management functions.
- Technical experience and strong working knowledge of IP Internetworking, LAN Switching, WAN, SD-WAN, and network security.
- Technical experience and strong working knowledge of Cellular and Telco technologies such as LTE, APN, fibre, Satellite technologies, wireless, and microwave.
- Experience in network infrastructure solutions architecture, engineering, implementation, integration, and operations of enterprise and carrier-class networks.
- Quality management and operational excellence.
- Driving efficiencies through innovation and productivity improvement.
- Highly innovative, result-driven, and versatile professional.
- Experience with non-Cisco products and technologies such as Huawei, Fortinet, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Performance: Design, test, and implement network plans to meet client requirements. Implement network security measures and backup/recovery systems. Organise preventative maintenance schedules to ensure network reliability. Monitor and report on network performance, usage, growth, and development.
- Service Level and Client Engagement: Ensure processes align with achieving committed SLAs and KPIs. Manage client interactions and collaborate with Customer Support Operational teams to understand requirements and position value propositions. Maintain executive relationships with clients and business areas to ensure account retention. Adhere to internal and client-agreed escalation processes.
- Operational Management: Develop and implement operational plans for new products or services. Plan, evaluate, and improve business processes to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency. Prepare periodic reports to track strategic goal accomplishment.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Facilitate effective engagement with business units and relevant teams. Balance employee and client satisfaction to drive performance and service quality.
- Governance and Partner Engagement: Establish and enforce governance mechanisms between internal and external stakeholders. Manage tactical and operational engagements with partners and vendors to maintain strong business relationships.
