Job description

Role Purpose

As a Technical Fix Support Specialist at Momentum Wealth Technical Support Service, your primary role will be to calculate, review, and process contract corrections, ensuring the highest quality output within the prescribed turnaround time.

You will analyze and report on all corrections (IR Jira Fixes) and trends to enhance efficiencies.

You will embody the principle that investing with us is personal, emphasizing our commitment to caring for our clients and their needs.

Requirements

Relevant Knowledge

• Understanding specific products offered by Momentum Wealth (local and international), including features, advantages, limitations, tax, and fees impact.
• Knowledge of business procedures and processes within Momentum Wealth services to ensure efficient service delivery.
• In-depth understanding of Wealth systems (local and international) and their features.
• Comprehensive knowledge of investment products such as unit trusts, ETFs, structured products, personal share portfolios, living and retirement annuities.
• Understanding of the financial services industry, current trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Relevant Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in the Momentum Investments service area, familiar with the four functional lines and related systems.
• At least 10 years industry experience in investments, insurance, or financial services, with demonstrated excellence in administrative and client service tasks.

Regulatory and Compliance

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks such as POPIA, GDPR, TCF, FICAA, KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, FAIS.

Educational Background

• Grade 12 certificate minimum; a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance / Investments or related qualification is advantageous.

Learning Agility & Computer Skills

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes confidently.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing Investment Corrections: Calculate, review, and analyze correction requests; ensure accuracy; maintain checklists; adhere to peer review processes; verify corrections via Jira, Gemstone, BPM, and Lighthouse.
• Service Level Compliance: Monitor SLA adherence; communicate proactively if delays occur.
• Tools and Systems Usage: Record incidents accurately; ensure data integrity in Jira, Gemstone, and BPM.
• Financial Reporting Support: Align corrections with policies; collaborate with relevant teams; support audits.
• Participate in Projects and Reporting: Contribute to process improvements; generate reports on correction trends and issues.
