Job description

Role
  • Perform electronic and mechanical repairs on products.
  • Conduct Field Service Support daily on all supported products by Bidvest Mobility.
  • Compile, record, and update data on Zoho Call log management system.
  • Prepare, configure, and install Mobile computer equipment into vehicles, warehouses, and factories.
  • Conduct Wireless Site Surveys.
  • Perform regular site audits and preventative maintenance at customer sites.
  • Provide consultation support for installations.
  • Configure and set up sales and test demo systems as per instructions.
  • Undertake on-site installations as required.
  • Handle all related administration, including completing forms and job cards.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements during responsibilities.
  • Provide post-sales support to staff, partners, and end-users.
Requirements
  • Matric, Grade 12, or equivalent qualification, with at least 2 years' experience in repairing digital and/or RF equipment to component level.
  • Computer literacy, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of application software, barcode label printing software, and WLAN.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • SMD component soldering skills.
  • Good communication skills, both telephonically and in person.
  • Experience interacting successfully with customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Self-driven, enthusiastic, with strong customer service orientation.
  • English literacy and numeracy at least Grade 12 level.
  • Ability to meet strict repair deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Professional and presentable appearance.
  • Valid Driver's License.
