The Role
This position joins our technical presales team to deliver technical solutions and designs aligned with Ekco's strategy. It is a technical role within the wider Ekco Consultancy Service team.
The ideal candidate should confidently articulate and demonstrate technology solutions and services from our Ekco technology stack and service catalog.
Key Responsibilities
- Have a hands-on technical background with project delivery experience, ideally at a technical architect level.
- Align technology solutions with customer requirements, highlighting the business value of Ekco.
- Ensure solutions reflect the company's technology strategy.
- Present solutions to diverse customer backgrounds, demonstrating tangible business improvements.
- Create professional presales documentation using standard templates.
- Lead team responses for solutions, such as tenders.
- Maintain high standards of service performance and quality.
- Promote awareness of the presales process and ensure adherence.
- Manage handover of solutions to the Project Delivery Teams.
- Conduct training on new products, technologies, and upgrades for internal staff.
- Proactively present and sell new innovative services and solutions to clients.
Key Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of key technologies and services.
- Strong expertise in Cloud Architecture, Network Infrastructure, Windows Server, and Security solutions.
- Experience in preparing and presenting business proposals to senior executives.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful track record of delivering multiple technical projects.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Typically over seven years of experience in the IT Services industry.
- Motivated to learn new technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft cloud platforms (Azure, EM+S, Office 365).
- Knowledge of technical solutions like MS Defender, Windows Server, VMWare, and Veeam.
