Job summary

Execustaff is seeking a Technical Buyer for a Heavy Engineering Manufacturer in Eastrand with mining background preferred. You will evaluate and source equipment spare parts, interpret drawings and BOMs, and liaise between Engineering and Procurement to ensure technical requirements are met.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical procurement in mining, a National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, CIPS Level 4, ERP experience, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is required.
• CIPS Level 4 certification is required.
• 3–5 years in technical procurement within mining.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for technical parts based on engineering specs.
• Collaborate with Engineering to understand drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Maintain category-based sourcing strategy for technical commodities.
